When a baker and his wife set out to lift a family curse, they cross paths with Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, and Rapunzel. Wishes are granted, lessons are learned, and the characters discover that every choice has consequences, as happily-ever-afters are far more complicated than they seem.
Into the Woods contains mature themes including death, murder, violence, and scenes of intimacy/infidelity. It also features unsettling fairytale elements like predation, suicide, and sudden loud noises. The show explores dark, tragic consequences following "happily ever after," and may not be suitable for young children.
